We work with over a hundred local builders in eight Midwestern states to provide our customers with custom designed and skillfully constructed homes.

Here at Amwood Homes, we are proud to be a family-owned and family-operated business. Amwood Homes is led by CEO Doug Scott, the son of founder Gene Scott. Many of our employees and our builders have been with us for decades, too. We are committed to forming long-lasting relationships with our builders – and it shows.

As a home builder, what can Amwood do for you?
First, we are dedicated to providing our builders with access to educational opportunities, training workshops, and knowledge of industry trends. All new builders attend an Amwood Academy at our corporate office, where you will learn about our building process, tour our facilities, and interact with our managers, sales professionals, and designers. There you’ll form a relationship with a regional sales manager who will be instrumental in promoting your business and fostering your relationship with Amwood Homes. Each year, too, Amwood sponsors an annual Spring Kick Off . There you can meet other Amwood builders, attend social functions, and participate in workshops led by industry experts.

Next, by being an Amwood builder, you will be able to provide your customers with a complete home package. This includes the framing service, the crane service, and delivery. Since the floor deck system, wall panels, and roof trusses are constructed in one of our specialized manufacturing facilities and then shipped to your building site, Amwood saves you valuable time. This enables you to better serve your clients – and in this business, that means everything.

In addition, Amwood Homes features over 200 ready-made home plans. But it’s more than that: each and every one of our plans can be customized to meet your customers’ needs and desires. Our experienced designers will work with you to make sure that every home you build is exactly as you and your clients envision it.

By working with Amwood Homes, you’ll receive extensive support from our corporate office. We provide our builders with manuals that detail warranties, building forms, business procedures, and home plans. When customer leads come in through our website, we contact you immediately with local prospects. Amwood Homes recognizes that it is critical to market your business. For that reason, we provide you with full-color brochures and marketing aids; we also offer an advertising rebate program. But it doesn’t stop there: our builders also can participate in a volume rebate program and receive a discount on the construction of their personal home, too.
