Virgil Waugh Appointed to Forestry Council

June 2011 - (Madison, WI) - Virgil Waugh, President, Amwood Homes, Inc. was recently appointed to service on the Wisconsin Council of Forestry. The Wisconsin Council on Forestry is comprised of a diverse group of state leaders charged with the mission to sustain Wisconsin's forest for industry and recreation. Initiatives of the council include: halting the spread of invasive species, crafting a policy to utilize wood biomass as energy, and sustaining the health of Wisconsin's forests. Virgil has been an active member of the MABA (Madison Areas Builders Association) since 1997 and currently serves as Vice-Chair on the Madison Home Products Show Committee.
